DPS 50RD is a co-product from processing porcine mucosa and small intestines. It is a new animal-based protein which is condensed under enzymatic hydrolysis and elevated temperature to remove excess moisture and increase nutrient concentration. The condensed liquid is then roller dried.

DPS50RD is rich in oligopeptides and small peptide. All molecular weight is less than 10000 Dalton. Research has shown that DPS50RD are more readily digested and absorbed by young animals whose digestive system is immature. DPS stimulates gut development in young pigs.
